YouTube Analytics Added New Traffic Sources Report
With the new metric, you can see how users find your videos.
The new report is located in the Analytics tab in YouTube Studio. The report is titled “How viewers find your video,” and it shows where viewers come from and how many views each one brings. In total, the new metric uses six categories:
- Alerts
- Subscriptions
- Recommendations
- List “Next”
- The “Channels” tab of other bloggers
- Other

The green arrow next to the source shows the increase in the number of views relative to the previous period. Gray is his decline. A dash indicates that there is not enough data yet, or that the changes are insignificant.
At the same time, YouTube Studio opened a free library of sounds.
As with the original YouTube, it features sounds and tracks that you won’t receive a copyright strike for using.
